| | Funding: European Commission under the sixth Framework Programme | | | The main objective of RIOS is to develop an action plan for future research in the area of rehabilitation of oiled animals (resulting of oil spills) and to stimulate the contacts and future co-operation between scientists/researchers, marine wildlife rehabilitators, zoological professionals, veterinarians, biologists, NGOs, the oil industry and governmental organisations. They all have in common that they are involved or having an interest in spills where birds and mammals become oiled. |
