The project starts in October 2009 and will end in 2012. Following the Interreg III EMDI project (Espace Manche Development Initiative) the project aims at developing and implementing an integrated maritime policy in the Channel area whilst fostering concrete cooperation between stakeholders: Preserving the marine environment, through a specific action on maritime safety, is one of the topics of the project.
