Acronym:  PREVECMA Funding:  Ministry of Science and Innovation; CETMAR PREVECMA is a technological network included since 2006 in the networks promoted by The Education and Science Ministry and constituted to collect information and experiences for the prevention, preparation and response to marine spills by means of the integration of specialists from the main academic and scientific centres with the industry and environmental and marine authorities. PREVECMA has as an objective to promote the research and technological development for the prevention, response, reparation and minimization of the environmental and socioeconomic impact caused by hydrocarbon spill and dangerous or harmful substances transported by sea.
